Block of The Month Club

What are you most proud of? The fact that I am doing this just weeks after having hand surgery. I am basically doing these blocks with one hand ! I am challenging myself to not give up on my quilting during my recovery & physical therapy which will take about a year before I will have full use of my right hand again! What advice would you give someone starting this project? If I can do it with one hand then maybe someone else with limited physical ability might see that they too can give it a try. So go ahead and challenge yourself.

Q&A with Misty Quilts

Pat Sloan asked:
what super blocks... way to go!
Misty Quilts answered:
Thank you very much. Encouragement sure helps :-)
jillp asked:
man...if you are this great w/ one hand you are/will be amazing when you can use both!
Misty Quilts answered:
gee thanks, it took some creative methods for sure. Good points are that I have learned how to take advantage of some great built in tools on my Janome sewing machine.
