Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Vintage Block Quilt Along - Beggar's Block Link to website or photo charisecreates.blogspot.com What advice would you give someone starting this project? I have made some recommendation on my blog site for changes to her instructions, just based on my own personal experience. www.sisterofthedivide.blogspot.com I like using a glue stick rather than pins, I also like scotch tape rather than pins. Q&A with Applekrisp

K Lee 2Strings asked:
I really like the blocks you've posted so far. It looks like you're on to something fun. I'm afraid that I'm too timid to do a BOM unless I know what the final quilt we look like. I'm hearing a lot about glue sticks lately and I'm definitely going to try using one on my current project.
Applekrisp answered:
The final quilt will look exactly as you want it to look, your fabric choices, right? It's about having fun and enjoying the anticipation of the next month's project, without it all being so overwhelming...eating an elephant one bite at a time.
mo.sews asked:
I ran out of gas in November with the BOM. I need to get busy again! I purchased a year's worth of KC Star blocks (I'm from there) and would really like to work on those blocks... as always, you are an inspiration!
Applekrisp answered:
That sounds amazing Mo, can't wait to see them, be sure to post!
Cathlene asked:

Very elegant colours - quiet and serene!

I love this fabric line. It will definitely be a very feminine quilt when finished.
