Batman Quilt

What are you most proud of? Designing the pattern and doing all the math to make it work out right in different sizes! It was my first time making a pattern from just a picture. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use some bright blues for the background, to contrast with the black. You also want to use some lighter/manilla yellow colors so he doesn't look sickly, haha. I also love using black batiks, and maybe throwing some purple in. Also be careful placing the applique facial features! You can change his expression very easily with the slightest tweak to his mouth, or the slant of his eyes. I wonder what a smiling Batman would look like!
