Autumn quilt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? My completed quilt! I briefly thought about paying for someone to machine quilt the top, backing and batting together for me but in the end I decided to have a go myself - and it was wonderful! I am sitting on my lounge typing this with my hand-made, one-of-a-kind quilt on my lap, keeping me toasty warm! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't think about it, do it! Jenni is a gem to watch and listen to - and she's very easy to follow. If you want to make a quick start, get a charm pack of squares - enough to make the quilt size that you want. Jenni's instructions will make sure you will easily finish your first quilt.

What you will need

  • Cotton fat quarters
  • cotton off the bolt
  • cotton wool batting Rotary cutter
  • ruler and self-healing mat. Sewing machine with thread to match the patches.
