What are you most proud of? I made these for a pin cushion swap. I love to hand sew and thought they would be useful for someone who does that too. They are handy and can be carried along with on the go projects. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just have fun with making what you enjoy doing. I used the double sided pre-quilted material. That way you just cut a strip of it, mine were 6" wide X 18" long. Sew the bias tape across the ends, then fold the ends up to make a pocket on each end. Then sew bias tape along the sides to hide the raw edges. I sewed a line from the fold up to the top edge where the bias tape goes across and made seperate little pockets. They can hold a spool of thread, small scissors, a packet of needles, or even the 'dreaded' seam ripper..Then just make a simple pincushion and attach it with a large button.
