Angles & Feathers

What are you most proud of? This is my first real scrap quilt. I used up some leftover batiks that had been in a box for a couple of years. (And, of course, had to buy a couple of fat quarters) What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be aware of the edge of the quilt when quilting the borders! I lost part of a few of my feathers in the binding.

Darns answered:
Thanks, PennyMeller
mmauch asked:
Beautiful, love your color choices.
Darns answered:
Thank you, but not much choice as the batiks were leftover from previous projects and I used what I had. I was surprised at how good this scrappy of a quilt ended up.
ginnyt3 asked:
Very pretty.
Darns answered:
Thank you!
newbieQ asked:
Love your batiks! Great colors!
Darns answered:
Thank you! It was fun to do. Since I tend to be really anal about color, this quilt was quite a departure for me.
akpharvey@yahoo.com asked:
Love your quilt! The colors and layout are beautiful.
Darns answered:
Thanks a lot! I used up quite a bit of my leftovers on this. Most of the batiks were left over from the Wildflowers quilt.
