4th of July Stack n Whack

Project Description

What are you most proud of? This was my first Stack N Whack quilt. It was made in the early 90's. The back shows the fabric I used to cut out the individual blocks. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be very, very careful & precise when lining up the stack of 8 pieces of fabric

What you will need

  • Cotton fabrics

Thanks a lot! I hadn't really looked at this quilt in quite awhile so it was fun to revisit it.

Wow!!!!! Absolutely fabulous, love it. I have bought a stack and whack book and tools but have not got around to it as yet. Thanks for the inspiration:)))
Darns answered:
Thanks, desna, stack n whack is fun but finnicky - getting the eight layers of fabrics lined exactly was time consuming

I saw in the blog they were having a 4th of July contest so I decided to put this one in - even though I made it probably 15 years ago.

Thanks, PennyMeller, at the time I made this quilt I was seriously getting hooked on quilting
