"Jungle Babies" Crib quilt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I like the little quilt. It is 37 x 45" and is edged in prairie points which I think 'sets off' the quilt. I made sheets and pillowcase to match the quilt (unfortunately did not photograph them before sending them to the person they were made for). The sheets and pillowcase are in the olive green cotton and the top sheet and pillow case have the praire points as trim on the border of the top sheet and pillow case. It is a darling ensemble. Q&A with dottyeb

This is a very cute quilt. I love the fabrics and the Prairie Point border really sets it off. I wonder how long it took you to do all those Prairie points?
dottyeb answered:
Each 'point' is a 2-1/2? square, folded diagonally into a triangle and then each side folded in again to make a square, and of course pressed with a steam iron at each folding. It took me about an hour to press all of the points, and probably about 3 hours to pin them on so they fit each side properly, then sewed them on. They look much more time consuming then they really are. Glad you enjoyed the quilt. The colors are much prettier in person. Thanks for the compliments.
