Pattern Details

I love walking thru the woods and I imagine all sorts of critters living in the holes in the trees that I come across. I'll bet the minute I leave, their little eyes poke out of their "condo windows" and watch me leave. While some of my other patterns offer complete tutorials that a beginner can do, this one is for the quilter that already has made a few fusible applique quilts. You get a line drawing for a placement guide and one reversed for you to trace each pattern piece from. All can be printed out on standard 8.5 x 11 paper. The larger pattern does need to be taped together. This is meant to be used as a guide for you to use your own creativiy and make it your own. I have photos of 4 different quilts I have made from the pattern to get you started thinking - hmmmm, she did this - what about trying this. The goal is to have fun and play:-) BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY fusible web applique freezer paper applique (optional) free motion quilting binding a small art quilt SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 9"x11" 17"x22""

Started with traditional patchwork but the last 10 years have fell in love with the freedom of art quilting. I live in Vermont and when not quilting or working - I love to walk with my two best friends - sweet summer who is a young retriever and the little rascal known as ZuZu's petals.
