It's almost spring, but I couldn't wait any longer - I live in Michigan where winter seems to last 8 months, and the sun hardly ever shines during it!!! I needed some cheering up. So I pulled out as many red, green and yellow fabrics as I could find, some fusible web, and stitched up a tulip garden lickety-split! I can just imagine the warm breezes as I look at it. My garden finishes at 23" x 23", but you could make as many [or as little] blocks as you want! And how cute would this look on a nursery wall??? This pattern works up quickly with fusible web - but could be adapted for needle-turn applique easily.
