Ticker tape quilt blocks use small pieces of fabric which are applied randomly. This versatile mug rug adds a touch of order to this process to provide a scrap-happy arrangement of squares and rectangles. Suitable for hand or machine stitching, this pattern uses quick fuse applique and a simple quilt-as-you-go approach. All you have to do is choose your fabrics. You can group fabric by colour, pattern or a mixture of both enabling you to co-ordinate this mug rug with any colour scheme. Or make it seasonal by choosing Autumnal oranges and browns, ice-cream Summer colours, Spring greens or cool Winter blues.
