PATTERN DETAILS

The streets of towns and cities are filled with trucks, trucks of all sizes, trucks old and new, family trucks, farm trucks, business trucks, and trucks ... well, just because. The old truck in this mug rug has seen good times and bad, but it's in pretty good shape and ready to take anywhere. This is a great mug rug for anyone who remembers that first truck with nostalgia, who has a truck they love, or who has always wanted a truck of their own. Change the colors, remove the topper or keep it on. Design your own truck for this mug rug, and have fun with it. This project is made with fusible web and goes together very quickly. Mug rugs are just the right size to hold a cup or glass of your favorite something to drink and a small snack. Make one or make a bunch, and add a splash of color to your desk or table top. The pattern for this project is detailed with complete instructions containing many helpful photos. Full size templates, and a full size layout plan are included. When I retired from a lifetime of teaching in 2007, I was worried that I'd quickly get bored. That concern didn't last long at all. I was thrilled to discover that there really is life outside of the classroom. I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I'm a teacher at heart, so I do try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes. I make myself easily available to my customers, and I respond to all questions as quickly and as thoroughly as I can.
