A close friend has been going through some stressful times lately. The other day she mentioned that she could use some sunshine in her day. That set my thoughts in motion, so I made up this little mug rug for her and filled it with sunshine and a pretty cup. Then I rolled the mug rug. tucked it into a real cup, and gave it to her. I was so pleased to see a smile light up her face for a change! The pattern for this mug rug contains 3 pages of instructions, one page with a full size layout of the pattern, one page of templates, and a page of the foundation paper for the background. If you have any questions or comments, please send an email to me at: I would love to see photos of your completed work in the completed projects section of this pattern page. When I retired from a lifetime of teaching in 2007, I was worried that I'd quickly get bored. That concern didn't last long at all. I was thrilled to discover that there really is life outside of the classroom. I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I'm a teacher at heart, so I do try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes. I make myself easily available to my customers, and I respond to all questions as quickly and as thoroughly as I can. Contact Information: Blog:, Facebook Page:, Email:
