In my hometown, most years we hardly have very much of a spring. It seems like it's rainy and blustery one day, and then spring buds seem to start busting open almost over night. The next thing you know it's super hot and everything seems to dry up almost over night {again}! This quilt celebrates those few gorgeous days or weeks of newly sprung spring! Welcome to Cora's Quilts on Craftsy! My name is Shelley: wife, mom, quilter, and designer from Sacramento, CA. I love designing quilting projects big and small, alike - my patterns are built upon classic quilt blocks and patterns, that have been updated for the contemporary sewer. I include directions for modern, simplified, time-saving cutting and piecing techniques, and some of my favorite building blocks are those fabulous pre-cut fabric bundles, like 5" Charm Packs and 10" Layer Cakes. The majority of my patterns are also scrap-bin friendly, so if you're looking to make a little bit of room in your stash, you've come to the right place! All my projects include clear, concise instructions accompanied by full-color illustrations and photos. Visit my blog at to see what I'm working on in my studio or visit my etsy shop at for kits featuring the patterns you see here. Thanks for stopping by and happy sewing!
