What could be more fun than a family of jolly snowmen? They have the tree, they have the gifts, and someone even has a lollipop. The happy Snow family is prepared for Christmas! This colorful little holiday quilt will brighten your home either as a wall hanging or as a table topper. The pattern is beginner friendly and designed for easy sewing. It is written with very detailed, clear instructions and is illustrated with numerous photographs. The applique is easy with quickly attached fusible web and a bit of zigzag stitching. Add a little piece of ribbon and decorative buttons here and there, then sew on two quick borders, and your quilt is finished and done. When I retired from a lifetime of teaching in 2007, I was worried that I'd quickly get bored. That concern didn't last long at all. I was thrilled to discover that there really is life outside of the classroom. I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I'm a teacher at heart, so I do try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes.
