I started quilting when I was about 7. My mother and grandmother were always making quilts and they taught me the stitches, piecing and how a quilt went together. Trial and error, some on my own, others with my grandmother and mother and I found that I loved to quilt, design and embroider. These are my life's passions. If you ever need help with a layout, a specific size block or pattern I sell here, or would like a pattern of yours laid out and professionally created in digital format, please feel free to contact me. quilts@thequiltersdiary.com Picture is of our fireplace in our Quilting Studio and my kitty "Sammie" enjoying the hearth and the heat while we sit close by sewing and quilting. I think mom and I have made our sewing area a little too comfortable ;-)
