PATTERN DETAILS

My "Diamonds in the Rough" pattern is appliqud, quilted, and backed one square at a time then joined using simple straight seams, No Y-seams or partial seams, you can do this! I have just updated this pattern to include 2 sizes! one for the kids (or a great Lap Quilt) 45"x56" and one for the adults 57"x 67"! Because just like a big warm hug, everyone wants one! A major "Quilters Rules" breaker! No ironing necessary! No batting to buy or add! No binding to hand stitch! No mitered corners to fuss with! No critical "points" to match! No fussy seam allowances, 1/2 inch throughout! No critical alignment or stitching of the appliques! Close is ok, you're going to clip and shred them! Shredding hides a multitude of sins. There's something very therapeutic about shredding a quilt! LOL! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY some experence using a sewing machine The ability to use sharp tools safely. :) I write tutorials, I will teach you how to make this shredded style quilt with closeup photos and diagrams! SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Adult size 57" x 67" Kids size 45" X 56" Lap Quilt 45" x 56"

Greetings! PLEASE NOTE that I am having a great deal of difficulty communicating with my crafty friends with the new changes on the Craftsy website! There are several comments and questions I can not answer because of "broken links" on the sight! VERY frustrating! I am so excited to have this opportunity to share new and innovative ideas via my patterns with those phenomenally creative people out there who, like me create because they have to! I have always been one to push the envelope with my creations and I hope I can bring out that side of you too! Questions and comments are always welcome! With Kindest Regards, Sally PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE A PATTERN IS DOWNLOADED IT IS NOT REFUNDABLE.
