This is a basic outline for making a super easy, super fast PLUS quilt with only 12 Fat Quarters. The download has cutting instructions and a "map" for you to pin your fabrics directly to the sheet of paper, rather than using a design wall. Great beginner project and a good one to work with your young sewing enthusiasts. See more on the blog. Updated to add: Pin each plus seam intersection when applicable. **This may cause the rows to stagger. That is OK. Simply trim the ends even before quilting. Easy fix.

Supplies Needed

  • 2 2/3 yard backing fabric
