I often get inspiration from blocks, or settings, or situations. I saw a block similar to this one, and liked it. So, in my symetrical, unified approach to design, I opted for a clean, orderly appearance. I like to press my block seams in a way that will result in nested seam allowances during construction of the top. I think it helps to reduce seam bulk, making quilting easier. To help you accomplish this, I have included pressing details as part of the block construction instructions. Have fun, and enjoy your quilt!
