I love intricate blocks, but am not crazy about Y-seams, so I decided to create a project that looks harder than it is to make! These blocks can actually be pieced; however for this simple project I decided to "applique" them using a satin stitch. Because the fabric is fused to the batting, you only have to cover the raw edges to prevent fraying. No binding is needed with this technique either! :) Enjoy!
