Pattern Details

Not all geese fly in a straight line. My geese are making curves in the sky, chasing each other round and round. Easy foundation piecing and gentle curves make this a perfect quilt to unite large scale, modern prints with small scale bright prints. Add a stripe for a border and you have a quilt to make anyone smile. There are two versions of this quilt. Notice the last two pictures have a single appliquéd circle placed over the center - a perfect place for an awesome print. This is an 18 page pdf and include instructions for BOTH versions with full size templates. All fabric supplies are also listed for both versions. Paper piecing steps illustrated for Orange Geese quilt here: http://debbykratovilquilts.blogspot.com/2018/08/technique-tuesday-and-fabric-giveaway.html Steps for making the Flying Geese outer border are here: https://debbykratovilquilts.blogspot.com/2018/08/free-motion-fantasy-part-two.html NOTE: The Orange Quilt uses two different colors for the background of the Flying Geese; plan your fabrics accordingly.
