Pattern Details

Not all geese fly in a straight line. My geese are making curves in the sky, chasing each other round and round. Easy foundation piecing and gentle curves make this a perfect quilt to unite large scale, modern prints with small scale bright prints. Add a stripe for a border and you have a quilt to make anyone smile. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Must be familiar with foundation/paper piecing. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 12" Blocks; 38" x 38" quilt

Recommended with this pattern

  • 1/2 yd light print for background for geese ring; 1/8 yard each of 5 different bright prints for the geese; 3/8 yard blue and white dot for block background; 1/4 yard "bullseye" print for center; 1/4 circles:1/3 yard blue for sashing; One 2-1/2" strip for sashing squares (green); 5/8 yard border stripe; 1/3 yard binding (can be same as blue and white dot above); Two 12-1/2" squares of freezer paper (for templates); 46" square batting; 2 yards backing
  • Add a quarter ruler is very helpful; newsprint for copying foundations
