A true optical illusion quilt! The inspiration for this came from the 1910 red and white quilt shown here, which has been termed "The Vortex Quilt." Strip-piece with red and white and then use the EZ Dresden Tool® to cut the strip sets apart into wedges. Any 18˚ dresden ruler will do with an 8” height. Full-size paper template is included, of course! No hand appliqué; all sewing machine work, even for the center circle. Sewing with an accurate 1/4" is a MUST!
