PATTERN DETAILS

"Maritime Beauty" was my introduction to sewing NY Beauty blocks and after seeing how easy they were to sew, I was hooked! The gentle curved seam requires no special foot or attachment - just the regular 1/4" foot. The spikes are foundation pieced ensuring accuracy every time. There are only 8 New York Beauty blocks to sew in this dramatic table topper and it goes together quickly. You will love making Maritime Beauty! Sew Karen-ly Created...
Growing up in the Canadian Maritimes, I was surrounded by quilts from an early age. My grandmother was particularly talented and taught quilting locally. I learned from her and have made quilting my life's work. Since 1989, I have published well over 300 quilting patterns in magazines, contributed designs to 16 different books, and am author of two books: Quilting Beauties (AQS), and Canadian Heritage Quilting.
