The first of many! I am so happy and proud to introduce the ‘Hope’ block as the first in my BOM selection. This patchwork block tutorial is well thought through, beautiful and handy as each working step is clearly illustrated on one page. It comes with three techniques to make HSTs! And it is highly affordable. I want to share my passion for patchwork with people. As a designer maker I offer custom ordered quilts and home textiles such as cushions or runners. I currently teach patchwork and quilting masterclasses and beginner classes at Sutton College in London. I can be booked for private lessons or patchwork parties, I am happy to come to you house as well. I decided to bring my work even closer to you, to be taught via pdf and at your pace. As we all know, paper is patient ;-) As usual I am using solids with starkly contrasting colours for my tutorials. Why? I believe the technique is too important to let heavily patterned fabrics distract. Besides, choosing fabrics for a patchwork project is such a joy that I feel I would over influence by choosing patterned fabrics for you. Note: The measurements in all my tutorials are in inches ["] and the seam allowance is 1/4".
