Block 10 of the quilt along is a pair of adorable pets. The little companions are very focused on something they see outside. I wonder what they are watching so intently. The size of the block is great for a mug rug, and the dachshund pup and his feline friend are so cute that I included instructions for sewing this up as a mug rug, too. Fusible web applique makes the block quick and easy to sew. The pattern includes detailed, illustrated instructions, full size templates for the applique pieces, and a full size layout plan. When I retired from a lifetime of teaching in 2007, I was worried that I'd quickly get bored. That concern didn't last long at all. I was thrilled to discover that there really is life outside of the classroom. I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I'm a teacher at heart, so I do try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes. I make myself easily available to my customers, and I respond to all questions as quickly and as thoroughly as I can. Contact Information: Blog:, Facebook Page:, Email:
