What is a Gravatar? When browsing different web sites, you may notice that many users have a picture next to their name. These pictures are called "avatars." WordPress, however, uses a specific type of avatar called "Gravatars"--short for "Globally Recognized Avatar." I like them very much and began of thinking to design them as quilt pattern. The service matches your WordPress profile information to the email address. But this is a private information, you say. That is the reason I stopped making anything. Till yesterday when realized that any string of characters can be converted as avatar. Hallo, happy birthday, love, happiness, mum, dad etc. I began with thankyou! Today I present you my first PDF pattern - the gravatar thankyou! as 12” paper pieced block. The pattern contains 4 pages and includes: * 12” block diagrams without seam allowances * printing and assembling instructions * percentage table for resizing 12” block * a page for your color ideas You'll receive the block in color version plus black white mirror version, numbered and ready for sewing plus instructions for assembling the block. Just print it and start! This PDF quilt pattern is 12" (30,4 cm) square block . There is a percentage table if you need other sizes. You can make what you like – tote, baby quilt, placemat, quilt, wall hanging. I made a cushion case. See the last picture. Basic paper piecing instructions are NOT included.
