This pattern is my spin-off of the traditional log cabin block. By tessellating triangular log cabins, you can make layered diamond variations. Take a look at my color combination examples and play around with your fabric choices. You can use this block to make a wallet, a purse, a pillow, a quilt of any size, or any project you are working on. This block comes in three sizes: 3"x3", 4"x4", 5"x5". You can easily reduce or enlarge the size of the block by printing at a different scale as well. I have also included three different sizes of triangles in case you prefer to juxtapose triangles instead of squares. The PDF includes a labeled diagram, different color combinations of tessellated blocks, pages to plan your fabric choices, and the pattern at three different sizes. The PDF comes in standard letter size (8.5"x11"), but you should be able to print on A4 paper.
