Pattern Details

Can't go sleigh riding without a warm lap quilt! This is the perfect oneit's nice and long but not too wide. It's warm but not bulky. It is fashionable with chevron stripes. Best of all, it is so easy to make you will have time to bake the cookies to go with it :) The applique chevron stripes are sewn with the fabric edges raw, exposed. It is designed to fray to the stitches, giving a textured, unaffected look to the quilt. The applique and the quilting are done at the same time. There is no binding; the edges are finished by sewing all around and then clipping the edges to fray. Every step in this quilt was planned to create the most beautiful quilt possible in the most efficient way possible. This pattern includes complete easy to follow numbered step by step directions with photos. There are full size printable pattern for the star fish applique. The pattern is written with metric units in parenthesis. If you have any questions or concerns about the pattern please contact me.
