With a king size quilt top that can be made completely out of fat quarters, here is your chance to mix, match and blend bright bold colors to your heart's content. A hole in the center of the quilt accommodates the pole of a beach umbrella, and the large size ensures room for the whole family. The quilt pattern includes stitching "in the ditch" at all seams as well as tying with embroidery thread in the center of large blocks. No intricate piecework here, and a very straightforward quilting plan make this a great first project for beginners. PLEASE NOTE: There is no applique on this quilt. The image with the dog, umbrella, etc. is a photo of my dog and our things on the king sized color block quilt when we actually used it at the beach. Please look at all photos for clarity.
