The traditional Baby Blocks pattern uses 60 degree diamonds and is stitched WITHOUT using a y-seam. My Baby Blocks technique takes out that y-seam altogether. All straight seam sewing. We work some magic with those light background pieces and you will be delightfully surprised at how easy and quick this quilt goes together. Supplies: -- 10 strips of assorted prints, 3-1/2” x 42“ (Each strip will yield 9 diamonds) -- 1 yard light for background -- 1/3 yard binding -- 1-1/4 yard backing -- Batting -- A 60 degree triangle ruler is recommended, but I've included triangle templates in the pattern.
