Step up your quilting to the next level with the Aiming for Accuracy Booklet. This booklet contains: * 17 comprehensive lessons, with full colour photos, to complete the quilt top. * Recommended products and tips for improving quilting accuracy. * Tutorials for creating half-square, quarter-square and split quarter-square triangles. * Finishing up ideas including choosing batting, basting, quilting and binding. * Blank colour charts to assist in planning the quilt. * Links to various tutorials, resources and videos for further information. Additional notes on fabric requirements: Assorted prints: The 6 yards represents 24 fat quarters which will give you a good variety of prints to use. You will have some leftovers, but they can be used for the quilt back, scrappy border squares and/or binding. You should be able to get by with only 20 fat quarters, but you'll want to be careful when cutting. Contrasting fabric: I'm using black for my version of the quilt shown in the lessons. However, I also completed a test version with 1930s prints where I used white. You need a good contrasting fabric so that the design stands out. Backing fabric: The yardage is based on having a middle scrappy strip that is approximately 10" in height. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Accurately sew a 1/4" seam allowance Accurate cutting

Recommended with this pattern

  • 6 yards of assorted prints
  • 3 yards of contrasting fabric
  • 3/8 yard for border squares or sixty-four (64) scrappy patches cut at 2.5"
