SUPER COOL IDEA. LOVE IT
I made this cake for a local girl that was turning 16. I made it from a Betty Crocker white cake batter baked in a square cakepan. I used paper foot shaped cutouts for a pattern. i partially froze the cake to allow easier cutout. the Straps were pre-made with Gumpaste as well as the flowers, they were allowed to dry ovenight. I frosted and Covered the cake with marshmallow fondant. the stripes were made from Zebra Sugas Sheets which i cut out a little smaller than the footbed then painted on a little cornsyrup to apply them. Put the sraps on with a bit of Royal Icing, then i wrote the customers name with a foodwriter.
