What materials did you use? A rayon type fabric and old buttons from my retro stash.

What are you most proud of? I picked up this fabric along with a bunch of other fabric at an estate sale. I'm glad I found a good use for it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Measure the pattern and make sure it is the length you want. Check the pattern for acurate measurements after printing it.

Love it! Looks great on you! Isn't it a comfortable top?

Thanks! It is comfortable, the fabric is soft and the fit is good, just a bit snug because of the pattern printing issue.

What a great top! It all works, the right fabric, pattern, and design. Did you use the fabric as is or have to underline it? I see that it is a downloaded pattern, and your guidance was not to go through Google, but I have never heard of Mozilla - is that an option on the pattern purchase or do I have to load a new search engine to get it? It appears to fit you so nicely. Aside from having the correct printed out size - did you do many pattern alterations? Do you think the pattern will be easily adjusted to fit a 40" D bust? Thanks for inspiring me to go to my sewing machine today!

Thank you! I did not underline it as the fabric is weighty enough and not see thru! If you have another search engine, try it or test the little square and print it bigger. The pattern is free! I did not do any altering although I will make it a bit longer if the correctly printed pattern is not long enough. It seems that the pattern does fit just about anyone but I have read from other Sorbretto top makers with a larger bust, that they do adjust some for the size. Happy sewing!
