What materials did you use? Silk fabric

What are you most proud of? That I was able to add several pattern alterations which I had not previously done. For example, the sleeves were way too long so I shortened them. On my muslin, I realized I needed to do a rounded-back alteration which required a lot of research before finding one that made sense. I also wasn't fond of the height of the collar, so I made it narrower before sewing it onto the shirt.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Definitely make a muslin. It is a quirky design so a novice will benefit from carefully watching the video. I kept referring back to various sections of the video as I was finishing the shirt.

I love the shorter sleeves. Where did you take the length off from in the pattern ?

Just below the elbow.
