What materials did you use? Scrap knit fabric from my stash

What are you most proud of? I have a batwing sweater that is too short in the body to be comfortable, so I used it as a pattern, and cut old knit fabric pieces - to make a new longer one.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just lay your sweater on top of the fabric and then cut the shape of the sweater, the nut diagonals etc and cuffs from other fabric. Just design it how it is comfortable. For example I added 7" to the length, so it is the right length! and as I didn't have enough scrap fabric for the front! I just cut two fabric on the diagonal joined them together and then added a loose hem.

My stash needs to be smaller, maybe it is because I live in a small town and do if I go to a city I need to buy fabric...
