What materials did you use?
I used a patriotic panel and surrounded it with 40 paper pieced squares. The color scheme is red, white, blue, and brown. Each square contains one stripe of blue fabric with white stars. The quilt is machine quilted.
This quilt was made for Boy Scout Troop 724 of the Greater St. Louis Area Council. It is going to be raffled at the AmVets National Convention in August, 2014. Proceeds are going toward the Troop's trip to a Navajo Reservation this summer.
