What are you most proud of? I am a beginning sewer who has always wanted to learn to quilt. I found this class on Craftsy and decided to dive in. So far, I'm really enjoying it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time and enjoy the process. I've become best friends with y seam ripper but have learned from each mistake. What appealed to me is the monthly projects. Breaking down a quilt to one or two blocks a month doesn't seem so overwhelming.

Nice blocks... you're off to a flying start! These are the blocks that got me started on the quilt path too... oh boy am I hooked LOL! Are you? Well done!

Thanks Pam! I'm liking the block construction part, but the assembling and quilting scare me! I'm also hoping I can tie my color choices together. In theory they go together, but my sister keeps saying the blocks all look like they are for different quilts.

One step at a time posie... just enjoy the block construction for now and by the time you're ready to put them all together, it will all fall in to place and you'll be that much more the wiser too.... plus there's a whole Craftsy community out there willing to help ;-) Love your colours... and your sister will see what you see once you have a few more blocks made, they'll start partying together LOL. Have fun... lots of it!
