Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. Graphite HB, 2B, 3B and White Charcoal on Strathmore Toned Tan Sketch Paper. I drew my character as native american, because I like the idea of him being a native american warrior.

Is the piece for sale? No

What are you most proud of? The technique was new to me, so I'm glad I was able to learn new techniques that will improve my artistry.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The envelope and blocking are very important. I had trouble keeping my pencils sharp enough. Also, I would suggest watching the videos once before you start the actual drawing.

You've got much talent. Nicely rendered

This looks gorgeous on the tan paper. I did the project on un-toned drawing paper and it just looks unfinished. I was debating whether to try again on gray or tan toned paper. After seeing yours, I think I will definitely go for the tan. Thanks for the inspiration and this is fabulous work!

Thank you so much! I Really enjoy toned paper, and this project was so fun and I learned a lot :)
