What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun with it, also - coordinate it with your outfit

This hat is really cute. I made a wreath outof tissue paper a long time ago. It's amazing what you can do with it.

I actually used this idea to make pom-poms for my wedding. I wanted a 70's throw back feel to my reception so I used various shades of orange & yellow and alternated the shades from light to dark. Then we hung these from the ceiling and it actually quite pretty - everyone really liked it :) These are great in solids and contrasting colors too. Great for a baby shower or birthday too. I wanted to make smaller poms to use as napkin rings but ran out of steam trying to DIY our entire wedding, lol.

opps I forgot to add that it also makes the poms look more interesting when you alternate the shape at the end when you're cutting them. We did some with a rounded end (like in your photo) and some with a pointed end and the variety makes it visually interesting - very flower like and fun :)

Love it, your work has encouraged me to do my longtime unfinished paper projects. Thanks.
