Can you tell us about any special equipment or techniques that you used? Nikon D5200, Sigma 18-250mm lens, flash bounced from the ceiling

You captured a nice moment. Your son's eyes are in shadow though from the light being too overhead. Bouncing from a side wall, or backing up and using a longer lens would let you light the eyes better and avoid the raccoon eyes. Definitely a keeper.
