What materials did you use? Quilter's cotton remnant.

What are you most proud of? This only took me about an hour and a half to sew; I didn't think it would be such a quick project. Granted, I've made this pattern once before, but I had scanned it and blown it up to about 10x the size to make a stuffed animal for a friend's baby and having it be that much larger made the fiddly details slightly less so.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Read the directions through before you start and be sure to read them and follow the diagrams as you are progressing through the pattern. It is very easy to sew things together backward if you aren't paying attention to the slight variations in the pieces or the markings on the pattern that show what goes where.

When you blew it up x 10 how big did it turn out? I am wanting to make a stuffed animal as well.

So sorry it took me forever to respond! I was hoping I could find my enlarged pattern pieces to measure, but I've hid them from myself. =/ From what I remember, the finished elephant was a little over 12" from trunk to tail. A very good toddler-hugging size. =)

The elephant is so dear. I collect them and I am anxious to get the pattern.
