Thing I'm most proud of is that with my funky cardboard templates, I managed to get perfect seams and a 12.5" dead on block. Thing I'm most fed up about? I'd sewn the whole thing almost together before I spotted the wonky square. Ah me,,,,pride and the fall are well named

Thanks Jean, I appreciate the support, I've got to admit that I'm having to brace myself to tackle the Cleopatra block though. but at least I managed to sort out the problem with the Double Star, now I've got contrast and then some! You get there eventrually don't you?
