What materials did you use? Pink tricot ( looks like fuchsia on the photo's but its really pink). I also used normal elastic instead of the invisible one or the foldover onr(as i had neither at the time and i was anxious to finish the project) by securing the elastic (2,5 mm wide) and then folding over it and stitching it again it still gave a very nice finished look. I would advise getting the invisible elastic as it does look better ( tried it on my second project).

What are you most proud of? Making this my first official project that i can actually wear. I have made stuff before, but it was mostly practical stuff such as bags, covers and drapes. So i am really proud of my first wearable project!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun, try out an exiting colour....it doesn't take long to make and you will see results quickly.

I love it! I have not started this project jet.

Simple and yet so stylish! I'm new to sewing and would love to make this too.

I see myself as a beginner as well, especially when it comes to sewing clothes. Trust me, if you know how to use a sewing machine you'll be able to complete this. The only thing I found a bit difficult was how to use an online pattern, but in the end the instructions are so clear, just re read it when you're not sure and you'll be ok :)
