So Sew Easy on

What materials did you use? A remnant of unknown knit fabric from the sale bin.

What are you most proud of? Er, actually not too much - this one should have been a simple two piece dress, but my machining difficulties turned it into a bit of a mess.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I highly recommend this pattern - great for beginners. Just two pieces, but do take care with knit fabrics - they can be difficult to work with. Read more on my blog at

Thanks Debbie!!

I just tested the link and it worked fine for me. Sorry you had trouble. Please try again.

I've been looking all over the place for a cowl neck knit pattern to use for a vintage tablecloth makeover - duh! I should have started with Craftsy!!

How do I access this pattern? I really need it because I want to repurpose a circular/oval vintage crocheted tablecloth into a tunic length top with a gentle slope cowl neck to show off the delicate edging on the tablecloth. I can't find this anywhere else (I've spent hours looking). Please help me. I was going to make it as a Christmas gift.

This pattern wouldn't work made up with a vintage table cloth because it has to be made in a fabric with a lot of stretch. Sorry, I think you'll need to look for another that can be made with a woven fabric.
