What are you most proud of? The many steps -- going on the journey from drawing to model and mold making to having to work and work the clay.... lots of fun and learning.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take the class, learn the different requirements of copper clay torch firing and work the clay.

I like this piece too. I especially love the turquoise wirework bail which becomes part of the overall design. :D

Necessity it the mother of invention. After using up all my clay in molds, I realized I forgotten that I needed some for bails. I had bought copper embedables. I didn't want to drill holes in their heads so I had to devise another solution.

Oops! Meant to write Necessity IS the mother of invention.... I got so excited when the clay became malleable that I wanted to make everything, forgetting wht everything required....
