This is beautiful. One of my next pursuits is to make my own shirts. Did you have problems getting a suitable fabric? I'm in Newcastle AU and really only have Spotlight to shop at. They don't have the quality for shirt fabric imho. I've been told that China Town in Sydney is the place to go.

Hi. I live in a small town, where fabric is ok but not great. I don't really like Spotlight fabrics, I find them a little shabby. We have one good fabric shop 2 hours away, so if I go there i stock up, hence my stash grows. I tend to buy online, Tessuti in Aus is good, or Vogue Fabrics, or Marcy Tilton in America. Postage can be dear, but if you tell them slow post it becomes more bearable.
