What is exciting or interesting to you about your photo(s)? After learning about different camera settings, I decided to experiment and photograph one small scene with every setting on my camera. I have a basic point and shoot and never realized how much of an impact the different settings could have on a picture. I will NEVER use "auto" again!

What are you most proud of? Now that I know what every single feature does and how it can significantly impact how a picture looks, I am not afraid to switch off the "auto" setting and see what actually works to make my photos better.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Your scene doesn't have to be fancy. All you need is a simple prop and a background. It takes a little time to change each feature on your camera, but it's well worth it when you compare the pictures. Also, write down what setting you change for each photo as you go so you understand what you are looking at in the end.

Wish I had discovered this class when I first started blogging and selling on Etsy. I'll never be a professional photographer, but the skills I learned will definitely make me a better photographer, especially when it comes to my product photos.
