Collecting yarn and fabric to turn them into something lovely is one of my passions.I'm a wife, mom and a grandma who loves family, friends, history (especially family history), taking pictures, writing, substitute teaching, restoring the 120-year-old Oneida Stake Academy rock building. (See www.oneidastakeacademy.blogspot.com)My mother taught me to crochet, and with time on my hands, I've picked it up again after many years of doing other things.I love to adapt patterns to my own liking. I try them a time or two, then find that they've morphed into something uniquely "my design.".... it seems I've always looked for a not-so-often-used angle on the ordinary, which is how I approach photography, as well. My favorite pics are those taken from an angle that I had to either stretch to see or find myself in some other contortion to reach.Watch for more creations as I get them done! All of them are made in my pet-free, smoke-free home, and are inspired by the relationships, love and beauty I find on our little farm and from our family.
