Q&A with janet_s

mnorlund6@hotmail.com asked:
I can not wait to try this.
janet_s answered:
That's great! Have you tried it? How did it work?
Hollyhock123 asked:
Do you cut a V in each envelope ?
janet_s answered:
Yes, you do. I made a cardboard template with a V in it, and used that to make uniform cuts in the envelopes.
Chee Ning Soon asked:
how can i make this. Do you have a tutorial
janet_s answered:
I added a picture with the pattern and instructions printed on it. You can choose to make the spine larger or smaller (I show it as 1"x4". If you do, just be sure to adjust the size of your decorative papers to fit. I didn't give a length for the ribbon. I suggest using a little more than you think you'll need to tie the case shut. You can always trim a little off later.
jeanniefergie asked:
this is really nice. I just tried making it, but was thinking it was bigger. I think I will try to make it bigger to fit my cards. I like the idea though. Thank you
janet_s answered:
Great. I'm glad you tried it. You could try it with a larger size envelope. It should be easy enough to adapt the pattern.
