Project

Birthday Butterfly

The project started out with adding acrylic gesso (watered down) to a patterned paper. A blue watercolor was added over top. The paper was glued to a card stock and cut out to the size of a smaller card. A decorative ribbon was added to the front of the card. A butterfly die cut was used and then embossed with gold embossing powder. A birthday greeting stamp was added. I used black cherry ink on the stamp. On the inside of the card I cut out a thin strip of the same paper stock that is on the front and added another birthday greeting stamp.
